Existing roof removed

The existing roof is removed and we will inspect for any damage that is to be repaired or replaced to provide a stable foundation for new slates.

Waterproofing barrier

Sarking is installed over the roof deck to provide an additional waterproof barrier and protect against moisture infiltration before the high-quality slates are installed.

Design and layout

The layout and design of the slate roof are planned to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional goals. Considerations such as roof pitch, exposure, pattern, and overlap are considered during the design phase.

Slate installation

Slates are installed starting from the eaves and working upwards in overlapping rows.
